Au niveau protocols on définit les paramètres globaux au processus OSPF :

 protocols {
   ospf {
     preference 19;
     external-preference 166;
     export ospf_liste;
     area 0.0.0.0 {
       interface so-0/0/0.0;
     }
   }
 }

Au niveau interfaces il suffit qu'il y ait une adresse IP sur une interface (family <tt>inet</tt> ou family <tt>inet6</tt>) pour que OSPF la prenne en compte (en plus de la commande interface dans le bloc protocols..ospf..area).

Les règles d'exportation sont configurées au niveau policy-options :

 policy-options {
   policy-statement ospf_liste {
   from {
      route-filter 10.0.0.0/32 orlonger;
   }
   then reject;
  }
 }
