Au niveau global, le processus router isis est défini. On notera que cette configuration met en oeuvre la multi-topologie (commande multi-topology) et qu'une agrégation est également présente (commande summary-prefix) :

Au niveau interfaces, on initialise le protocole ISIS (on notera que l'exemple ci-dessous configure ISISv4 et ISISv6 sur l'interface, et que des métriques différents sont attribués aux deux topologies) :
